Medical Assistant (MA) I, Cardiology Clinic
About The Position
This full-time (40 hours weekly) position is scheduled for five 8-hour shifts Monday- Friday between 7am- 5pm and primarily supports Dr. Solis within Interventional Cardiology. The Cardiology Clinic at Aurora’s St. Luke’s Medical Center offers a blend of world-class clinical reputation, fast-paced hands-on experience and competitive benefits. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
- Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
