About The Position

Flagler Health is building the clinical operating system for modern musculoskeletal care. They partner with MSK provider groups and specialty clinics to help them grow, operate more efficiently, and deliver better longitudinal care across patient acquisition, clinical workflows, and ongoing patient engagement. Their platform sits at the intersection of care delivery and clinic operations, helping providers capture more value across the full patient lifecycle. The company has recently raised its Series B and is entering its next phase of growth.

Requirements

  • Nationally certified Medical Assistant holding the CMA (AAMA) credential.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical office or remote care setting.
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Slack, and online patient enrollment platforms.
  • Personal laptop with a working microphone, camera, and reliable internet connection.
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace available for remote work when the hybrid schedule is introduced.
  • Calm, articulate, and professional conduct when interacting with federal auditors or healthcare officials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on empathy and patient support.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative without close supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in healthcare administration, clinic operations, or front-desk management.
  • Candidates with experience in Orthopedics, Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, Sports Medicine, or Neurology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the sole dedicated physical presence at the facility during all posted operating hours.
  • Act as the immediate, professional point of contact when a MAC field inspector arrives unannounced.
  • Escort inspectors through the facility and respond to operational questions factually and without elaboration.
  • Confirm each morning that the facility is open, utilities are operational, and equipment is functioning before 10:00 AM.
  • Verify that external business signage is visible and in compliance.
  • Maintain strict physical HIPAA compliance, including locked medical records storage and secured server areas.
  • Maintain the Readiness Binder at the front desk at all times, containing: Active state facility licenses, IRS CP-575 forms, Current building lease, Copy of the submitted 855B application.
  • Facilitate patient enrollment into Flagler's RTM portal.
  • Make daily outbound calls and send text messages to patients to document health status and maintain engagement.
  • Collect and document patient health information, including medical histories, current health status, and new or evolving symptoms.
  • Send evidence-based health support resources to patients, including stretching guides, light exercise videos, and meditation content.
  • Participate in ongoing company training sessions and team check-ins.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in full compliance with HIPAA regulations and Flagler company policies.
