About The Position

We are seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to support clinical operations and assist providers with patient care in a busy outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dependable, and comfortable working with patients across all age groups, from infants and children to adults and geriatrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR qualifying RMA program with required work experience and RMA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Required education and certifications must be documented.
• Active Minnesota LPN license at time of submission.
• Current BLS certification.
• Required license and certification must be documented.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Assist providers with patient care and treatment.
• Complete standard patient rooming processes.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed.
• Collect laboratory specimens as needed.
• Provide telephone and patient support.
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers.
• Assist with prescription refills.
• Perform phlebotomy duties as applicable.
• Perform clinic laboratory testing.
• Provide front desk/check-in support as needed.
• Order and stock supplies.
• Assist with prior authorizations.
• Perform X-ray duties if appropriately qualified and certified.
