About The Position

The St. Louis Park Clinic supports 5 unique neurology and mental health subspecialty programs, providing comprehensive care to patients experiencing first-time symptoms or those with longstanding diagnoses. The team consists of providers, nurses, social workers, PharmD, and other healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat patients, offering the latest in clinical care, education, and support to patients and caregivers.

Requirements

As a Medical Assistant (MA): Possess a Medical Assistant Diploma with proof of completion of a 160-hour externship, OR hold AAMA Certification OR AMT Registration.
As an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license.

Responsibilities

Support providers and patients during clinic visits.
Monitor clinic schedules.
Greet and guide patients to their examination room.
Collect pertinent medical information for health records.
Coordinate and communicate with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians.
Assist with minor in-office procedures, giving injections and immunizations, and other laboratory/sample collections (depending on scope of certification or license).
