About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant will be accountable for the delivery of quality care to patients and families of all ages according to the individualized needs of the patient. The Medical Assistant or LPN is responsible for assisting physicians, mid-level providers, and other clinical staff in providing medical services to patients with provider delegation within scope of practice. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. A working style that emphasizes collegiality, teamwork, participation, communication, and service orientation is required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, assist in other duties as needed, and possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are required. A high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion is necessary, along with maintaining a professional appearance.

Requirements

  • Medical Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Medical Assistant: Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification required.
  • Medical Assistant: Current BLS certification required.
  • LPN: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • LPN: Current WA State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
  • LPN: Current BLS Required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Evidence of a working style that emphasizes collegiality, teamwork, participation, communication and service orientation required.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in other duties as needed and possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred for Medical Assistant.
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred for LPN.
