This is a part-time, day shift position. The role involves delivering patient care through preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment, maintaining aseptic techniques, and administering medications and treatments under provider direction. The position also entails preparing patient charts, communicating test results, scheduling procedures, and assisting with patient outreach. Coordination of physician schedules, insurance pre-certifications, and patient follow-ups are key duties. Maintaining patient confidentiality, educating patients and families, and promoting evidence-based resources are also essential. The role requires acting as a patient advocate, assisting with training new colleagues, and potentially cross-covering in other clinic areas. Documenting patient plans of care and escalating issues to management are also part of the role. The position requires maintaining knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies to ensure ethical and professional conduct.
