About The Position
University Physicians' Association is seeking qualified applicants for a Medical Assistant or LPN position for our specialty Pulmonary Hypertension clinic located in Knoxville, TN. Candidates must be detail-oriented. Applicants must be familiar with giving instructions, writing orders, and making the patients their top priority. This position will work closely with physicians to provide a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities
- Assisting physicians with patient care
- Scheduling appointments
- Rooming patients during clinic
- Medication reconciliation
- Taking vitals
- Performing 6 MWT
- Chart prep
- Scanning documents
- Obtaining outside medical records
- Following up on labs, EKGs, ABGs, and sleep studies/referrals
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with physicians, patients, and their families
- Conveying a positive image of the practice
