Medical Assistant/LPN - Primary Care Milton
About The Position
The Medical Assistant assists with patient care management and executes administrative and clinical procedures, providing exceptional medical care that meets each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs selected nursing acts in the care of the ill, injured, or infirm patient under the direction of the Physician. Both roles provide administrative/clinical assistance while adhering to a prescribed treatment plan in accordance with established policies and procedures. Individuals in these positions work under general supervision, are responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
Requirements
- Knowledge, skill, and/or ability to perform essential duties.
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the LPN role.
- Must be able to perform administrative and clinical procedures.
- Must be able to adhere to established policies and procedures.
- May require a Level 2 Background check through AHCA.
