About The Position

National Institute of Clinical Research, a research organization serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, is searching for a highly experienced Medical assistant/JR Clinical Research Coordinator with Phlebotomy experience to assist our research coordinators in clinical trials. The Medical Assistant/JR Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Research Study Coordinator in recruiting subjects for assigned clinical trials and coordinating the research activities and visits for the subjects enrolled in research projects. Essential functions include scheduling research visits for subjects enrolled in clinical trials, the performance of EKG, routine phlebotomy, other lab assessments such as vital signs, and obtaining necessary lab results for the subjects. The research assistant will also be responsible for assisting the study coordinator in reviewing and requesting medical records. Must have experience with PC software applications including word processing. The ability and willingness to learn new software programs is also required.

Requirements

At least two to three years of clinical experience as a Medical assistant / Phlebotomist (certification preferred) or a laboratory technician.
Experience with PC software applications including word processing.
Ability and willingness to learn new software programs.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred and considered a strong asset for this role.
