Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Obtain patient medical history in electronic health records (EHR), vital signs, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with examinations
Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies
Assist with procedures such as injections as directed by the provider
Clean and sanitize exam rooms in between patient visits
Basic tasks such as removing sutures and applying bandages
Measure and apply patients with durable medical equipment (DMEs)
Provide instructions and directions to patients regarding diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments
Provide patient education and review home exercise programs
