Working in the Department of Genetics with both pediatric and adult patients (from birth to death). The MAs are responsible to room the patients following the Department of Genetic guidelines. This position involves working alongside a collaborative care team that puts patients first. The role supports providers by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, measurements, health information, and documenting in the medical record. Responsibilities also include preparing, cleaning, and stocking exam rooms to ensure a smooth patient experience, communicating patient concerns and important information to providers, and assisting with limited administrative duties, including scheduling and follow-up tasks as needed. The position will join an established team of two Medical Assistants.
