Job Overview The Regional Float Medical Assistant provides patient care support to various ambulatory clinics within their regulatory scope of practice. As a regional float, assignment locations will vary depending on business need and may be within either Los Angeles or Orange County. Assignments will vary in length and can range from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the reason for supplemental coverage.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Medical Assistant diploma required.
A minimum of 3 years of back-office experience, preferred.
B ili n g u a l ( E n gli s h / S pa n i s h ) preferred.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Urgent Care is preferred.
