About The Position

Baptist Heart Specialists is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant II for our Baptist South office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, administering EKGs, and assisting the provider. Requirements

3-5 years Patient Care Experience
Experience in Physician's office
High School Diploma/GED Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant Required
Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
