About The Position
Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) with 3+ years of experience to join our high‑volume outpatient practice in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Strong knowledge of Athena EMR is required.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) – required
- 3+ years of MA experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency with Athena EMR
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a high‑volume workload

Responsibilities
- Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and documenting medical histories
- Assisting providers with examinations and procedures
- Administering injections, performing phlebotomy, and completing basic MA clinical tasks
- Managing high‑volume patient flow efficiently
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in Athena
- Coordinating referrals, authorizations, and patient follow‑up
- Supporting front‑office tasks as needed (phones, scheduling, check‑in/out)
