The University of Iowa Community Clinics is seeking a patient-centered Medical Assistant II (MA II) to work at our UICC Heartland Drive Internal Medicine Clinic. This position will mainly support our Heartland Drive Internal Medicine Clinic but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations based on clinical need or hours. Iowa Healthcare has been focused on the health and wellness of patients for over 100 years, providing care for pregnancy, baby wellness, vaccinations, school and athletic physicals, acute visits, annual check-ups, mental health, and on-site laboratory services. The team builds relationships with patients, monitors their care history, and delivers personalized, compassionate care. When a patient needs specialty care, the family medicine provider connects them with the appropriate UI Health Care specialist, ensuring a seamless experience by sharing medical records.
