This trainee position involves learning and developing practical skills in a medical setting. Trainees will participate in online classes, observe health and safety codes, complete assignments, and successfully finish an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program. Upon completion, trainees will be eligible to earn the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant credential. Training and program costs are covered for trainees who successfully complete the program and commit to a two-year service term. A successful trainee needs strong time management and basic computer skills, flexibility, and a readiness to learn. Outstanding trainees are receptive to feedback, build good relationships, and are well-organized and willing to assist wherever possible. The medical assistant collaborates with nursing and provider staff to support primary patient care, prioritizing and organizing tasks. They must adhere to company policies, state, and federal regulations, demonstrating superior interpersonal skills, facilitating support, and effective teamwork.
