About The Position

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a talented certified Medical Assistant to join our esteemed Primary Care medical team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This is a full-time position with Monday - Friday hours from 9am - 5:30pm. The role involves direct patient care, assisting in examinations and treatments, collecting patient vitals and medical histories, performing basic medical procedures, and entering data into electronic health records. The company provides ample training, including classroom and hands-on sessions, covering Electronic Health Records systems, referral processes, and the Patient Portal. Millennium Physician Group is a large, comprehensive primary care practice with over 400 healthcare providers across Florida, offering services like primary care, Imaging Centers, Lab Services, and Wellness Programs.

Requirements

Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
CPR/BLS certification
Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current
Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
Ability to stand, walk, climb and balance
Ability to occasionally sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
