About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our Draper Allergy Clinic. In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including administering allergy injections, supporting patient care, and assisting with prior authorizations when needed. Comprehensive, hands-on training will be provided. Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate courteously and effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients
• Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a willingness to support others

Nice To Haves

• Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• 1–2 years of medical office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain accurate patient demographic information
• Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures
• Prepare patients for exams and provide providers with relevant clinical information (lab results, vitals, medications, allergies)
• Communicate with patients regarding scheduling and care needs
• Perform allergy testing and administer allergy injections
• Provide patient education and assist with medication refills
• Support general patient care and clinic operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned
