About The Position

We are hiring for a Medical Assistant to join the Livingston team! This is a fantastic entry-level position for those looking to start a career in healthcare, even without prior experience. Requirements

High school diploma, or equivalent, and a valid driver's license are required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree is a plus.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or a CNA license is a plus.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.
Two year's Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an FQHC or similar environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health records (EHR) system.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
Perform basic laboratory tests.
Provide patient education and support.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
