About The Position
Join our primary care team supporting 3 providers and 1 physical therapist, with each provider seeing 16–20 patients daily. We’re looking for a Medical Assistant I who is dependable, patient‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced clinic.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of primary care or urgent care experience
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Experience with injections & immunizations
- Graduate of an accredited MA program
- MA certification required (AAMA ideal)
- EMR experience
- CPR/BLS required
- NV Lab Certification is Required
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Take manual vitals and document in EMR
- Perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point‑of‑care testing
- Administer injections and immunizations
- Assist with exams, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Support patient education and care coordination
- Manage patient flow and prepare exam rooms
- Help with phones, scheduling, and front‑office tasks as needed
- Maintain supplies and follow infection‑control standards
