About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Medical Assistant I, Specialty Services will support Urology, Pulmonology, General Surgery, and Sleep Medicine. This role is responsible for providing direct patient care in support of a provider in an ambulatory care setting under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician. The Medical Assistant I may administer medications upon completion of a medication administration course and specific supervision of a physician. Distribution of staff and patients may require reassignment to other areas.

Supporting Urology, Pulmonology, General Surgery, and Sleep Medicine departments.
Potentially being reassigned to other areas based on staff and patient distribution.
