About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric team at our Riverton Clinic. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care while supporting efficient clinic operations. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with specific days at different clinics. The pay range is $19.00/hour. We encourage detail-oriented Medical Assistants who are fluent in Spanish and passionate about working with children and families to apply and become part of our dedicated Pediatric team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, required
Bilingual in English and Spanish REQUIRED
Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
Professional verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant Certification, preferred
1 year of experience in a medical office setting, preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

Conducting telephone triage and communicating with parents/guardians
Managing insurance authorizations and prior approvals
Recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, etc.)
Administering immunizations
Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection
Preparing and maintaining exam rooms
Accurately documenting patient information
Record and update patient demographics
Process prior authorizations and insurance documentation
Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed
Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care and scheduling
Perform additional duties as assigned
