We are seeking to hire an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (Float) for our office in Reisterstown located at 120 Westminster Pike!

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Internal Medicine / Primary Care experience of 1-2 years is required.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently multitask and stay organized
Proficiency in EHR/ computer skills (Nextgen is a plus); CRISP; Cover My Meds
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take a medical skill assessment.

Responsibilities

Assistance during routine exams
Recording a patient history and logging vital signs.
Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results
Entering lab / diagnostic test orders
Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging
Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
Providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families.
