About The Position

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Medical Assistant Float, at INTEGRIS HEALTH Medical Group Float Pool to support the Outpatient Clinics in Enid, OK. This position will be located in Enid, OK, but will travel to Woodward, Ok and Ponca City, Ok to care for patients. Requirements

Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 of months of clinic MA experience
CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
Must have a current Oklahoma State Driver's License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Nice To Haves

6 months of customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor.
Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which include lab values, pain levels, patient education needs, nutritional status and potential complications.
Contributes to the assessment/re-assessment of patients.
Monitors and documents patient status.
Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include medication administration (exclusive of narcotics).
Manages large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner.
May retrieve and transport medications.
Floats to clinics that need support when conducting patient care.
Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.
