About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant with pain management procedure experience to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
• Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is highly desirable
• Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding
• Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures
• Ability to perform X-rays is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational ability

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting

Responsibilities

• Perform basic clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and preparing patients for examinations
• Assist healthcare professionals with various procedures and treatments
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and perform phlebotomy when necessary
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for patient care
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
