About The Position

The medical assistant is responsible for the care and treatment of clients in a medical office as directed by a physician. They work under the supervision of the provider, to ensure that quality care is provided to adult and pediatric patients. This role will work with multiple departments with a focus on Vascular, Cardiology, Sleep Medicine and Pulmonology.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of medical assisting with knowledge of new trends and techniques in medical assisting.
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
  • BLS required.
  • Previous experience is also preferred.
  • All new hires are required to attend a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH.
  • Attendance on all three days is required for onboarding completion.
