About The Position

This part-time Medical Assistant position, working 24 hours per week, supports a busy Primary Care office with multiple providers and clinical staff. The role involves preparing patients for examinations, obtaining specimens, conducting routine laboratory tests, recording results, and potentially performing phlebotomy. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will administer selected medications/injections under physician supervision and perform clerical duties related to clinic operations. The position requires occasional travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operational needs, with shifts typically starting between 7:30 am or 8 am and ending between 5 pm or 7 pm, including an 8-10 hour shift based on clinic needs and a Saturday morning rotation.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience.
Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.
