About The Position
This position is for a Medical Assistant in Family Medicine at UW Health N. Main St. Clinic. The role is Per Diem, Day shift. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differential, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire.
- Drug and alcohol screening, and N95 training required within 30 days of hire.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Computer experience.
- AAMA certification is required upon hire or verification of a passing score on the AAMA certification exam and subsequent AAMA certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Audiometry certification through Northern Illinois University or Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI), required within 30 days of hire.

- At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
