Medical Assistant - Family Medicine
About The Position
Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant for Family Medicine at our Battle Ground location. Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with overall delivery of patient care, and receiving additional hands-on training to work at top of scope. EMTs and CNAs are welcome to apply. Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain Washington State MA-R credential. Location: Battle Ground ( 2005 W Main St STE 110, Battle Ground, WA 98604 ) Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a variable start time 7:00AM to 4:30PM or 7:30AM to 5:00PM Hiring rate starts at $20.59/hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. Active WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential, hiring range starts at $22.25/hour and goes up based on experience. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Required completion of one of the following: Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification.
- Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
- Current healthcare provider BLS required
- Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
