About The Position

This is a full-time, day shift position for a Medical Assistant/CMA. The role requires the ability to understand instructions, reason, and make judgments. It also involves the ability to understand the meaning of words, ideas, and their effective use, as well as perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately. The position requires the ability to understand forms in space and the relationships of plane and solid objects, and to perceive pertinent details in pictorial, graphic, verbal, or tabular material. Additionally, the role demands the ability to coordinate eyes, hands, fingers, and hands/feet rapidly and accurately with speed, and to perceive similarities and differences in colors. The job involves lifting, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be current in BLS/CPR.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant Certification is preferred, but not required.
• Experience as a phlebotomist and/or medical assistant is preferred but not required.
