About The Position

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a talented Medical Assistant to join our esteemed Primary Care medical team. This is a full-time position with Monday - Friday hours. The role involves direct patient care, including collecting patient vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic testing, performing basic medical procedures, and entering data into electronic health records. The company provides ample training, including classroom and hands-on sessions, covering Electronic Health Records systems, referral processes, and the Patient Portal. Requirements

Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
CPR/BLS certification
Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
All certifications received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current
Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
Regularly required to stand, walk, climb and balance
Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
