About The Position
Peachtree Immediate Care is hiring Medical Assistants and EMTs for multiple clinic locations throughout West and South Metro Georgia. Whether you're a recent Medical Assistant graduate or an experienced clinical professional, this is an opportunity to build your skills in a fast-paced urgent care environment while providing high-quality patient care. Join our team and receive a $1,000 total sign-on bonus: $500 paid after 2 months of employment and $500 paid after 6 months of employment. Sign-on bonus eligibility and payment are subject to applicable company terms and conditions.
Requirements
- Candidates may have backgrounds or credentials as a: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Medical Assistant graduate
- Dependable, patient-focused, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and able to work collaboratively with providers and team members.
- Current BLS certification is expected based on the position and applicable credentials.
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for examination and treatment
- Obtaining and documenting vital signs and patient information
- Assisting providers during visits and clinical procedures
- Preparing exam rooms and clinical equipment
- Collecting specimens and supporting diagnostic testing
- Maintaining accurate patient documentation
- Supporting patient flow throughout the clinic
- Following clinical, safety, and infection-control standards
- Providing a welcoming and professional patient experience
