Requirements

Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration
Experience with EHR systems and medical administrative functions
Excellent organizational, communication, and patient service skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, train, and support a team of Medical Assistants
Oversee daily clinic workflow, staff scheduling, and operational efficiency
Assist with patient intake, medical histories, and electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Assist providers during clinical procedures and treatments
Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
Maintain accurate patient documentation, ICD coding, and medical records
Order medical supplies, manage inventory, and audit invoices
Research vendors and recommend cost-effective supply solutions
Manage and monitor access to controlled clinical areas, including pharmacy-related access
Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, safety standards, and patient care procedures
