About The Position

The person filling this role will do chart prep for Manistee Primary Care, Manistee Pediatrics, Empire Family Care and Frankfort Medical Group. This person will work closely with other the PHO and our quality team as well as practice staff to make sure all charts are prepped for the practices. This is a remote hybrid position, with 2-3 days remote work per week, one day in Empire, MI, and one day in Manistee.

Requirements

Must live in Northern Michigan.
High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred.
For Credentialed Medical Assistant: Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
For Non-Credentialed Medical Assistant: One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.
BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
