Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Certified Medical Assistant , you will help our patients receive exceptional care efficiently and effectively so they can experience a seamless and supportive healthcare journey . In this pivotal role, you will significantly contribute to seamless patient care and clinic efficiency by: Every day you will directly support providers in: Direct Patient Support: Assisting providers throughout the patient visit continuum, from pre-visit preparation and rooming to post-visit duties. This includes performing vital sign measurements (weight, height, BP, pulse, respirations, temperature) and various patient care procedures within MA scope of practice, such as injections, EKGs, ear lavage, and blood draws. Workflow Optimization: Managing patient flow, informing providers of schedule adjustments, actively participating in front office activities, handling scheduling tasks, and reporting test results as directed. Administrative Excellence: Contributing to administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling, medical record maintenance, and insurance claim processing. Exceptional Patient Experience: Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment for all patients. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program
  • Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Certified (CM)
  • Knowledge of third party payer requirements required.
  • Strong aptitude for detail, and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skill in using a PC

  • One year Medical Assistant – Certified experience
