Medical Assistant - Central Float
About The Position
Saint Luke's is offering a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to provide the education, hands-on training, and support needed to become a successful Medical Assistant. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition into a full-time Medical Assistant Float Pool position supporting the Central Region. As a Tier 1 Float Pool Medical Assistant, you will work within one assigned region, providing coverage and support to multiple Saint Luke's Physician Group clinics based on operational needs. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of practice settings while working with diverse patient populations and care teams. Central Region Clinics are located on or near the Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City (Plaza) campus. Saint Luke's Physician Group offers differential wage rates for Float Pool positions based on assigned tier.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification required.
- Mandatory full-time attendance Monday through Friday throughout the entire 10-week cohort program.
