About The Position

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT) to perform a variety of patient care duties including taking vital signs, recording patient histories, EKG’s, medication reconciliation, and specimen collections. Under the authority and delegation of a physician, may perform certain other tasks or duties. Alerts provider/nurse of emergent patient needs. Prepares patients for examination, treatment and procedures. Provide quality care in a compassionate environment where teamwork is highly valued, and exceptionalism and innovation are encouraged.

Requirements

Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Computer experience.
RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire.
Bi-Annual CPR certification.
Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
