About The Position

MaxHealth in Wesley Chapel is looking to hire a full-time Bilingual (Spanish) Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare patients' rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is compassionate, service-oriented, and can multitask with ease. The role involves direct involvement in ensuring focused and empathetic patient care, greeting patients warmly, triaging them upon arrival, preparing examination and procedure rooms, obtaining histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements. Administrative tasks include scheduling appointments and procedures, managing pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results. The Medical Assistant will also assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments while maintaining a calming presence for patients.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• 1+ years of experience as an MA
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR)
• Computer proficient
