About The Position
Bethany Medical, a large independent multi-specialty group in Central North Carolina, is seeking a full-time Bilingual (Spanish) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join their team. The role involves performing patient interviews, measuring vital signs, administering phlebotomy and injections, performing EKGs, and recording patient information in EMR. The Medical Assistant will also prepare treatment rooms and collaborate with providers and staff to ensure quality patient care. This position is located in High Point, NC.
Requirements
- CMA- Certified Medical Assistant (verified through AAMA, American Association of Medical Assistants) OR RMA- Registered Medical Assistant (verified through AMT, American Medical Technologists) OR NCMA- National Certified Medical Association (verified through NCCT, National Center for Competency Testing) OR ABR-OE- Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (verified through AAMA, American Association of Medical Assistants)
- Must be bilingual in Spanish.
- Must be able to perform patient interviews, measure vital signs, perform phlebotomy, injections, and EKGs.
- Must be able to record information in patients' charts and prepare treatment rooms.
- Must be able to work closely with Providers and fellow staff members.
Nice To Haves
- 1 + years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, and Internal Medicine is preferred.
