About The Position

RAMC is excited to offer a unique opportunity through our Clinical Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program! As a Medical Assistant Apprentice, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced care teams while receiving formal training and mentorship—all while being paid to learn.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative

Responsibilities

• Provide a blend of clinical, technical, and clerical support in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Assist with direct patient care across the lifespan—from infants to seniors.
• Support routine procedures, examinations, and documentation.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Build strong relationships with patients and families while supporting their psychosocial needs.
• Learn the skills to become a confident, competent Medical Assistant upon program completion.
