About The Position

The MA Apprentice Program is a tuition-free, earn-as-you-learn career opportunity designed to equip you with the skills needed to obtain your Washington State MA-C credential. Approved by the Washington State Department of Health, this program offers hands-on training, classroom instruction/online modules, and a pathway to a rewarding healthcare career. Full-time employment with benefits during training. Must have excellent attendance! Consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance is crucial in helping us fulfill our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care. We require our employees to adhere to our attendance standards, as frequent deviations make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas, is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old, or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Resume, with Personal Statement & Impact Statement – MUST ATTACH TO APPLICATION
  • Personal Statement (350 words max): Explain why you feel you will be successful in the program, share your goals, and how you’ll overcome any challenges.
  • Impact Statement (350 words max): Explain how you’ll balance online learning modules, skills-lab, and 2,000 hours of on-the-job training with your other responsibilities.
  • Excellent attendance is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Offers are contingent on successful completion of background screen and immunization requirements.
