About The Position

The Medical Assets Performance Analyst plays a vital analytical and operational support role in the management of medical equipment and capital assets across UAMS Health. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key performance data related to medical asset lifecycle, capital planning, procurement, service agreements, and total cost of ownership. By providing accurate insights, trend analysis, and performance metrics, the Medical Assets Performance Analyst supports data-driven decision-making for capital budgeting, equipment standardization, vendor management, and asset replacement strategies. The role has a strong emphasis on supporting the management of service agreements for the fleet of medical assets that cannot be serviced through in-house Clinical Engineering preventive maintenance and repairs. This ensures that outsourced maintenance is cost-effective, compliant, reliable, and aligned with clinical needs, regulatory requirements, and the organization’s financial and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years experience in healthcare administration, business analytics, Finances, and/or business operations OR High School 8 years experience in healthcare administration, business analytics, Finances, and/or business operations.
  • Strong proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar), database querying, and report development.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities
