About The Position
The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls is looking for a Driver to join their team in caring for America’s Heroes. They are a 5-Star, Deficiency Free, Homelike Care Community providing compassionate and professional long-term, skilled nursing care to veterans and spouses who cannot be cared for in their homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their designated locations while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- A valid Wisconsin driver's license
- A current CPR certification
- A DOT Medical Card
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles including vans, and buses to transport members
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing routine inspections and necessary maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the safety of passengers at all times.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned within the department
