About The Position

Seventh Dimension seeks a qualified Dive Medical Support Personnel professional to provide medical administration and operational readiness support services to the Naval Special Warfare Group Eight Fleet Integration Team. The selected individual will support military healthcare delivery systems, maintain medical readiness databases, coordinate clinical administrative processes, manage health records, and assist with medical department operations. This position plays an important role in supporting dive medicine programs, operational medical readiness, patient administration, and compliance with military healthcare requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with military medical personnel to ensure accurate medical documentation, reporting, scheduling, and readiness tracking across the command.

Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Valid United States passport.
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Must be Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certified and maintain HIPAA compliance certifications.
  • Certification from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA); or Completion of a Medical Assistant Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); or Completion of a Medical Assistant Program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Medical Administration.
  • Practical knowledge of standard clinic procedures.
  • Practical knowledge of medical record accountability.
  • Medical terminology and computerized data entry systems.
  • Experience with Military Health Systems Genesis (MHS Genesis).
  • Experience with Medical Readiness Reporting System (MRRS).

Responsibilities

  • Support the command medical department by managing and coordinating military healthcare delivery systems and operations.
  • Provide assistance with healthcare administrative programs and operational support tasks.
  • Assist the medical department with inspections, assessments, and readiness reviews.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for routine medical department operations.
  • Ensure correspondence, reports, and messages are accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Maintain internal tracking systems supporting healthcare administration and operational medical readiness.
  • Support routine clinical, occupational, preventive medicine, and emergency medical service administrative activities.
  • Provide administrative support for vaccinations, audiograms, laboratory testing, visual screenings, electrocardiograms, health assessments, physical examinations, and medical surveillance programs.
  • Manage medical department logs and readiness reports, including immunization, Human Immunodeficiency Virus screening, physical examination, and medical readiness records.
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain military health records.
  • Manage and update Medical Readiness Reporting System databases and other healthcare information systems.
  • Support Electronic Deployment Health Assessment processing and completion activities.
  • Serve as the assistant liaison for referrals, appointments, and medical claims support activities.
