About The Position

The Media Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and readiness of video content before it is published or delivered. This role sits within post-production operations and supports high-volume video output across multiple markets, platforms, and production teams. The Media Specialist serves as a key quality control checkpoint, managing media intake, organization, and review while maintaining consistent creative and technical standards. As content volume scales, this role helps protect brand integrity, reduce rework, and allow producers and editors to focus on speed and execution. You will be working closely with producers, editors, and reporting directly to the Director of Post Production to confirm deliverables are ready for the client and platform.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in video post-production, media management, or digital content operations.
  • Strong understanding of professional video workflows and quality standards.
  • Advanced familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects experience a plus.
  • Hands-on experience using Frame.io for review, versioning, and media management.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote editing teams preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistency across high-volume deliverables.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear communicator who can deliver concise, constructive feedback.

  • Familiarity with real estate, branded content, or fast-paced media environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake, organization, and tracking of video assets across projects and markets.
  • Own quality control review of assigned video deliverables prior to publishing or client delivery.
  • Ensure all content meets creative, technical, and brand standards, including:
  • Video and audio quality
  • Graphics, lower thirds, music usage, and branding
  • Accuracy of captions, titles, addresses, and on-screen text
  • Platform-specific formatting and delivery requirements
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to editors and confirm all revisions are completed correctly.
  • Manage Frame.io workflows, including:
  • File uploads, versioning, and organization
  • Review links and comment threads
  • Storage structure and housekeeping to maintain efficiency and accessibility
  • Maintain visibility into asset status and communicate readiness to producers and stakeholders.
  • Enforce media management standards, including naming conventions, folder structures, and version control.
  • Identify recurring quality or workflow issues and collaborate with leadership to improve processes.
  • Support onboarding and alignment of editors and vendors with established QC and media standards.
  • Export matches approved version; file name, metadata, and delivery folder location follow standards.
