About The Position

JLL is seeking a Solution Prep Associate to support our client’s Manufacturing Science & Technology, Process Development, Analytical Science Technology, and Process Development Analytics teams. This role is responsible for the preparation of buffer and media solutions ranging from 1–500L to support biologics development and testing activities. The position requires strong technical laboratory skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to GxP compliance, safety, and customer service while contributing to operational excellence and scientific support functions.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of laboratory support experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with buffer and media preparation processes in laboratory or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to operate laboratory equipment and follow approved maintenance and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and provide excellent customer service to scientific stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with client systems, including Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs), and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of buffer and media solutions used in testing and biologics development.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including balances, pH/osmolality meters, mixing vessels, and stir plates.
  • Utilize client systems to document, track, and fulfill solution preparation orders.
  • Comply with all GxP regulations, safety requirements, and documentation procedures while performing assigned tasks.
  • Collect, maintain, and report operational and performance metrics as required by management.
  • Identify and escalate unsafe conditions or compliance concerns and support timely corrective actions.
  • Cross-train team members and perform additional duties as needed to support business continuity.
