About The Position

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Media Production/Services Specialist 2 to support a major national laboratory. This contractor will work on an as needed basis. The role involves researching, preparing, and producing digital imagery (still or videos) for training, promotion, documentation, or other Laboratory official purposes for both internal and external audiences. The specialist will serve as the primary contact for photographic and videographic services required by Laboratory customers. Specific duties may include conducting needs assessments, interacting with customer organizations to analyze and develop visual media content and/or presentations, and advising customers of Laboratory media policies and procedures. This position requires the ability to resolve a diverse range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors, and contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives. The role operates under limited direction, receiving general instructions on new assignments, with work evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. The individual demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, and plans their own schedule and activities in accomplishing objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or 5 years of training/experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance.
  • Full understanding of specialized area plus working knowledge of other related fields.
  • Able to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite
  • Experience with photo/video editing software

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus
