About The Position

The Mogul Fellow (Internship) program is designed for emerging talent who want more than a seat at the table — they want to actually learn how the table works. As a Media Operations Intern, you’ll gain real, hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of advertising campaigns while working alongside experienced media professionals who care about your growth. This is an ideal opportunity for students or recent graduates who are serious about launching a career in media, advertising, or marketing strategy. You won’t be making coffee runs. You’ll be in the room, in the data, and in the conversation. Responsibilities are tailored to each Intern’s learning goals and team needs.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have recently earned a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Genuinely excited to learn how media works from the ground up.
  • Ask good questions, take initiative, and don’t wait to be told what to do next.
  • Detail-oriented and pride in getting things right.
  • Familiar with MS Office — especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable with verbal and written communication.
  • Positive attitude and collaborative spirit.
  • Can manage time, juggle competing tasks, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP are a plus but not required.
  • Canva familiarity is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the media and advertising landscape from the inside — social, programmatic, managed search, video, mobile, and traditional media channels.
  • Stay current on emerging platforms, technologies, and industry shifts through team briefings and independent research assignments.
  • Help collect and synthesize industry news, competitive insights, and consumer behavior trends into digestible formats for the team.
  • Shadow meetings with media vendors and tech partners to understand how media is planned, bought, and optimized in practice.
  • Assist with internal prep for campaign launches — organizing documents, taking notes on kick-off calls, and keeping things moving.
  • Support the team in gathering audience and industry research using available tools and platforms.
  • Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions for campaign strategy development.
  • Work alongside Media Operations, Data Analytics & Product, and Business Development teams.
  • Help compile campaign performance data for internal and client-facing reports.
  • Take notes and assist with follow-ups during internal and client meetings.
  • Learn how to read historical performance data and contribute to optimization discussions.
  • Help maintain organized records of client deliverables, campaign updates, and internal materials.
  • Provide general support to ensure smooth day-to-day team operations.
