About The Position

WNEM-TV is seeking a Media Executive who has a digital-first approach with a proven ability to present, negotiate, close deals, and build long-term relationships. This high-energy, creative individual must have a winning attitude to work in a competitive, collaborative, and fast-paced marketing environment.

Requirements

Minimum two years of experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
Must be able to work under daily deadline pressure with attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Experience in achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them.
Solid computer skills using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, or equivalent work-related experience.
Knowledge of Wide Orbit and ComScore is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work energetically and strategically to increase market share for various digital products, including OTT/Streaming, targeted e-mail, targeted display & video, paid social media, YouTube, SEM/SEO, and more.
Understand and communicate the value that digital solutions can bring to advertising campaigns.
Collaborate with clients on strategic planning to achieve their advertising objectives.
Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
Establish credible relationships with the local business community.
Make sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
Maintain assigned accounts and develop new accounts.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients.
Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media platforms.
Provide management with timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual budget forecasts.
Maintain an understanding of local market ratings, competitive media, station strengths, industry, and product knowledge.
