About The Position

Trajan Wealth is a rapidly growing, fiduciary wealth management and estate planning firm with offices across multiple U.S. markets. Broadcast media particularly TV and radio-is a cornerstone of our growth strategy. We invest heavily in both short-form advertising and program-length paid programming to educate consumers and generate high-quality leads. We are seeking a Media Director to serve as the primary architect of our media strategy across both traditional and digital channels. We require a leader who leverages deep business acumen and analytical wisdom to solve complex problems and drive measurable outcomes. You will partner closely with the Creative Director and Marketing team to place all of our content in strategic ways that extend our brand voice and generate high quality leads while ensuring every initiative is aligned with our strategic goals. Reporting is mission critical. This role will take a strategic lead in developing measurable outcomes, reporting and delivering on them. Note: This role is 100% onsite at our corporate office in Scottsdale AZ

Requirements

  • Proven Tenure: A minimum of 10 years of experience in media planning, buying, and strategy, specifically managing successful national campaigns.
  • Analytical Prowess: A natural ability to analyze data to inform media decisions and optimize campaigns for maximum efficiency.
  • Organizational Excellence: Outstanding organizational skills with an uncompromising attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Capability: Strong experience leading and mentoring direct reports with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Exceptional multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Communication: Comfortable working with senior leadership to present data-rooted strategies and clear, decisive outcomes.
  • Technical Knowledge: Master of integrated marketing: including TV, radio, digital, social media, mobile, and print. Experience with Creatio, Hubspot, or similar CRM platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Media Leadership: Lead the media team and all aspects of media planning, buying, and strategy across traditional (TV, Radio), digital (Social, Display, Mobile, Email, OTT, Website), and emerging platforms.
  • Highly Organized Reporting & Analysis: Maintain a rigorous focus on campaign performance data to provide actionable insights. You will be responsible for creating highly organized, comprehensive reports for the Creative Director and key stakeholders that connect media efforts to business KPIs.
  • Broadcast Mastery: Oversee our cornerstone growth strategy, which includes heavy investment in both short-form advertising and program-length paid programming (TV and Radio).
  • Authoritative Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and budgets with media vendors to maximize ROI and ensure the highest quality of service
  • Collaborative Architecture: Partner with the CD and Creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging and a unified brand presence across all channels. Maintain a strong focus on integrated content creation and deployment across all channels to ensure a unified brand presence.
  • Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor a high-performing media team, fostering professional growth and a culture of technical excellence. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the media team, including project workflows and team deliverables.
  • Compliance and Integrity: Oversee the approval of media assets to ensure they meet our strict quality and fiduciary compliance standards.
  • Collaborative Team Leader: Partner with creative and marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging, brand consistency, and alignment of media efforts with overarching marketing strategies.
  • Forward Thinking: Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in media strategies.
